Always make sure you never leave your little one unattended at any time with the contents of your pack.
There should be a series of postcards attached to your pack detailing a few ideas with each of the resources to get you started! You can use the resources with your baby however you both see fit, it’s always nice to see how they are engaging with it first and go from there! Any amount of time between you and your baby moving and playing with these resources together is amazing, whether it’s a quick couple of minutes or a longer period of time. Remember babies will start to look away and disengage when they are overstimulated so you can always base how long to do an activity around those cues.

We’ve created downloadable resources (PDF’s) with exercise ideas on them as well as some nursery rhyme sheets in English and Welsh. To accompany this there are a whole host of playlist suggestions as well as videos, bringing to life some of the exercises. Below you’ll find a video, pdf download and an accompanying sound track for each resource in your pack.

Dance play is curious and explorative, it requires all our senses to be engaged and embodied. The physical nature allows little ones to feel good and physically confident! For babies any activity that is engaging the senses can be really supportive for their brain development, touch and sounds provide great stimulation for them to feel more familiar with the world around them.

Dance play isn’t prop/ resource dependant there are so many ways in which you can just use your body to explore movement, baby massage and baby yoga as great examples of this! We’ve chosen to highlight exercises with the props in your pack on this platform so that you feel supported using it with your little one.
