Free Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing course online

TMW (Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing) is a specially-developed sequence of movements which promotes physical and emotional wellbeing. With origins in both Tai Chi and Chi Kung, the TMW sequence distils elements of these arts into a simplified form. Completing the TMW series of moves and gestures takes just 10 minutes. And the beauty of TMW is that it can be practised both seated and standing, making its benefits accessible to all.

A 5 week TMW protocol course will run weekly from Wednesday 25th November until 23rd December and will be delivered online using Zoom.

The course is free for people living in Powys who are looking for ways to self-manage their blood pressure.

Participants will loan a blood pressure testing kit from Newtown Area Library (to be picked up or posted out) and will also receive a TMW DVD and booklet to support their TMW practice outside of the class.

Booking is by email to amanda@impelo.org.uk

The project is co-delivered by Powys Library Service and Impelo, and has been made possible by funding from Powys Regional Partnership Board.
